Protect yourself
- Search the registered name of your RA on SEBI’s official website (SEBI Research Analyst directory).
- Obtain your RA’s official email/contact details from SEBI’s listing, and initiate communication using the official email only.
- If you receive communication from an unrecognised or personal email, disregard it as a potential scam.
- Never make payments to personal UPI IDs, unofficial bank accounts, or unverified third-party links.
- Always make payments after verifying details through the SEBI Check platform, to a valid UPI ID, or through the Centralised Fee Collection Mechanism (CeFCoM) for Investment Advisers and Research Analysts.
- Carry out transactions only through authentic trading apps of SEBI-registered intermediaries after verification on the SEBI Investor Support portal.
