Investor Charter in respect of Research Analysts (RAs), setting out our vision and mission, the services we provide, the grievance redressal mechanism, and the rights and responsibilities of investors dealing with Navkar Research (Rachit Jain, SEBI Registered Research Analyst).

Mission: Every investor should be able to invest in right investment products based on their needs, manage and monitor them to meet their goals, access reports and enjoy financial wellness.
Details of business transacted by the Research Analyst with respect to investors
- To publish research reports based on the research activities of the RA.
- To provide an independent, unbiased view on securities.
- To offer unbiased recommendations, disclosing the financial interests in recommended securities.
- To provide research recommendations based on analysis of publicly available information and known observations.
- To conduct an audit annually.
- To ensure that all advertisements adhere to the provisions of the Advertisement Code for Research Analysts.
- To maintain records of interactions with all clients, including prospective clients (prior to onboarding), where any conversation related to the research services has taken place.
Details of services provided to investors (No Indicative Timelines)
Onboarding of clients
- Sharing of terms and conditions of research services.
- Completing KYC of fee-paying clients.
Disclosure to clients
- To disclose information that is material for the client to make an informed decision — including details of business activity, disciplinary history, terms and conditions of research services, details of associates, and any risks and conflicts of interest.
- To disclose the extent of use of Artificial Intelligence tools in providing research services.
- While distributing a third-party research report, to disclose any material conflict of interest of such third-party research provider, or provide a web address that directs the recipient to the relevant disclosures.
- To disclose any conflict of interest of the activities of providing research services with other activities of the research analyst.
Ongoing standards of service
- To distribute research reports and recommendations to clients without discrimination.
- To maintain confidentiality with respect to publication of a research report until it is made available in the public domain.
- To respect data privacy rights of clients and take measures to protect unauthorised use of their confidential information.
- To disclose timelines for the services provided and ensure adherence to those timelines.
- To provide clear guidance and an adequate caution notice when recommending complex and high-risk financial products / services.
- To treat all clients with honesty and integrity.
- To ensure confidentiality of information shared by clients, unless required to be provided in furtherance of a legal obligation or where the client has given specific consent.
Grievance redressal mechanism
An investor may lodge a complaint / grievance against the Research Analyst in the following ways:
- Approach the Research AnalystIn case of any grievance, an investor may approach the concerned Research Analyst, who shall strive to redress the grievance immediately, and not later than 21 days of receipt of the grievance.
- SCORES 2.0 / RAASBFile the complaint on SCORES — SEBI's web-based centralised grievance redressal system — at scores.sebi.gov.in. Complaints follow a two-level review: first by the designated body (RAASB), then by SEBI. Investors may also email the designated email ID of RAASB.
- SMART ODRIf not satisfied with the resolution, the investor may file the complaint / grievance on the SMART ODR platform for resolution through online conciliation or arbitration.

Expectations from investors (Responsibilities)
Do’s
- Always deal with a SEBI-registered Research Analyst and ensure a valid registration certificate.
- Check the SEBI registration number against the list of registered RAs on the SEBI website.
- Always pay attention to disclosures made in the research reports before investing.
- Pay your Research Analyst through banking channels only and keep duly signed receipts; you may pay via the Centralised Fee Collection Mechanism (CeFCoM) of RAASB where opted (fee-paying clients only).
- Before buying/selling securities or applying in a public offer, check the research recommendation provided.
- Ask all relevant questions and clear your doubts before acting on a recommendation.
- Be aware of your right to stop availing the service, to provide feedback, and to not be bound by any clause contravening regulatory provisions.
- Inform SEBI about any Research Analyst offering assured or guaranteed returns.
Don’ts
- Do not provide funds for investment to the Research Analyst.
- Don’t fall prey to luring advertisements or market rumours.
- Do not get attracted to limited-period discounts, incentives or gifts offered by a Research Analyst.
- Do not share login credentials and passwords of your trading, demat or bank accounts with the Research Analyst.
