This Internal Policy describes the internal controls, conduct standards and conflict-of-interest management framework adopted by Navkar Research as a SEBI Registered Research Analyst.
1. Independence of research
Research recommendations are formed independently and objectively. Compensation is not linked to specific recommendations or to a client's trading outcomes.
2. Management of conflicts of interest
- We identify and, where relevant, disclose any conflict of interest associated with a recommendation.
- We do not deal in a manner that is contrary to a recommendation in a way that disadvantages clients.
- Any personal holdings that could affect objectivity are managed and disclosed in line with the Regulations.
3. Segregation of activities
Where the Research Analyst undertakes any activity other than research, appropriate segregation and disclosure are maintained as required by SEBI regulations.
4. Records and documentation
We maintain records of research recommendations, the rationale supporting them, and client communications, for the period prescribed under the Regulations.
5. Confidentiality and data security
Client information is treated as confidential and protected by reasonable security measures. See our Privacy Policy.
6. Training and certification
We maintain the certifications required under the Regulations (NISM Series XV) and keep abreast of regulatory developments to ensure ongoing compliance.
7. Review
